Truth be told, Benji evolved on Route 9 ouo
But I was having trouble designing him -- I mean, I knew he was gonna look like this (this is how I draw dragons, honestly, and regardless of typing, Charizard is a dragon), but I didn't know how to translate his scars. They still look a bit weird, but whatever.
God he's gonna look awesome as a Charizard, but I do have to design that as well...at least I have some time.

Also, Benji runs on all fours, but stands on his hind legs. Since he's, you know, a dragon. And I personally feel like dragons that spend all their time on their hind legs look a bit odd if they're ferocious dragons. 

I also have some fun fanart planned involving Benji and a particular Charizard with scars *coughArnoldcough*
It'll be super cute. I can only hope I get it done before that particular nuzlocke ends ;u; *coughTheFallcough*

Also, it's hard to tell, but Alex is leaning over in the second to last panel.
