It took so long to get this dang page finished because I wasn't entirely sure how to portray such an uneventful gym battle and also introduce the new(ish) team members
In other news, I finished the actual gameplay part of the Dear Mom nuzlocke. Whether it was a success or a failure, I won't say (what would be the fun in that?
)
But I am also playing a copycat file on my Virtual Console Yellow so that I'll be able to transfer at least some version of the Pokemon that were retired like Zuzu and Pookie up to Sun and Moon. It wouldn't be the EXACT same, since they're forever trapped on my physical Yellow, but it would still be something, you know?

Oh man, Pookie is so cute. Especially in the first and last panels. Alex hugging her and cuddling in Alex's mom's lap. "Pookie likes to go for walks, just so you know." What a precious child.
