Dear Mom 18

I have a lot to say about this page and I don't know where to start.

So:
-Travis has hearing damage. He's not...deaf, per se, but he can't hear much more than a muffled sound. Think like Kenny's voice from South Park, but muffling Kenny's voice. 
-Evolution does not fix wounds or damage. He still needs those bandages, and he still can't hear, even though he's evolved.
-Pokemon centers can do a lot, but they can't perfectly fix wounds like this. They can't fix hearing damage or broken bones. They can help speed up the healing process, though.
-Normally, Self-Destruct and Explosion would NOT cause this amount of damage. It caused this amount of damage to Travis because it was a critical hit.
-Travis may or may not be discoloured (slightly blackened eue) forever. I haven't decided yet. 
-It would be wise for you to learn rather quickly that I am VERY GOOD at writing feels fests like this. Be it sad, heartwrenching, or heartwarming, or even just a gentle tug at your heartstrings, I'm good at it. I don't know why. It's a gift. A superpower. If I don't make every last one of you cry at least once by the end of this adventure, then I'm not doing my job right. 
-Alex has been on his journey for a little over a month now. I'm hoping for the events of Dear Mom to take place over the course of about a year. I do know that Alex will turn 11 at some point, but I haven't decided when yet.
-Never startle a deaf person. 
-Alex feels like Travis getting hurt so badly is his fault. He feels bad that he couldn't prevent it, or fix it. Poor baby. 
-Travis can still battle because Alex trusts him to make the right decisions for himself. Most Pokemon battles don't usually require the Trainer to give the Pokemon commands.
-Thanks to for the idea of Travis being deaf

DON'T CRY ALEX, TRAVIS KNOWS YOU LOVE HIM.
